MSI announces Wind U120 netbook

MSI has announced the latest installment to its popular Wind netbook series, the lightweight Wind U120. Its predecessor, the Wind U100, was met with largely favorable reviews, but hit stores missing a few features that would have been useful.

The basic specs for the U120 are the recent standard, with the Atom-fueled Intel 1.6GHZ processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive (double from last time, but still no SSD option). Also packed in are a 1.3-megapixel webcam, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

The new additions are sure to please fans of the Wind series though, particularly the option of either 3.5G Solution or Intel WiMAX Technology for internet connectivity on the go. The design, with a 10-inch screen, is also much sleeker and easier on the eyes than its predecessor.
