Gigabyte will launch a trio of netbooks in 2009, according to the DigiTimes. The mention was brief and specifics non-existent, but the main point of interest is that they will each have built-in 3.5G modems. Gigabyte currently have one of the priciest netbooks on the market, in the form of the $700 Gigabyte M912 that features a handy touch screen. Netbooks with touch screens are still a considerable rarity in the market, so it’ll be interesting to see if their new releases also have them.
