ASUS has launched its much anticipated Eee PC 1002HA netbook, the latest in its 1000 series and the replacement for the 1000H. The design style is pretty similar to the Eee PC S101, with a thin aluminum lid and the same keyboard as its predecessors, the 1000H.
The 10-inch 1002HA is fueled by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, and can support Windows XP Home and Linux. Along with those, it has the usual goodies such as a Bluetooth and 802.11n wireless connectivity, a 1.3 megapixel webcam. With a 4200mAh polymer battery, it should run for around four to five hours if used continuously.
The very glossy and stylish 1002HA prices at US$499.00.
