Following the Dell Mini 12 and the recently announced Samsung N20, the latest large-sized netbook to be revealed is Asustek’s 12.1-inch ASUS S121. According to SlashGear, this is just the ASUS S101 with a bigger screen. The netbook has yet to be officially confirmed by Asus, and hence full details aren’t known, but it is likely to run Intel’s Atom N270 platform.
With the bigger screen comes a bigger keyboard and if it turns out to be the same as the ASUS S101 performance-wise, it’ll come packed with 1GB of RAM, WiFi, BlueTooth, and a webcam. Pricing is likely to be high for this, but Jerry Shen, the CEO of Asus, recently said there is demand for these luxury models and this is why they are being developed.
