Okay, so anyone following the netbook scene of late has noticed the new trend in larger sized releases, but MSI may be making an attempt to completely redefine the term “netbook” with its new X-Slim X320, for which some specs and photos have been revealed.
The most distinguishing feature of this is a 13.4-inch screen that is immense by netbook standards. Size-wise, this is certainly a laptop, but its specs — most notably its Intel Atom processor — still define it as a netbook. Along with the huge screen and Atom processor, the X320 is going to feature three USB ports, an SD card slot, and VGA out capability. The thickness ranges from 6mm to 19.8mm and the machine will weigh 1.3kg.
Pricing, release dates, and worldwide availability have yet to be announced, but here is yet another monster-sized netbook to confuse people wondering exactly what a netbook is in comparison to a laptop.
