If you aren’t satisfied with the lasting ability of your HP Mini 1000, the company is now selling a 6-cell battery at its parts store.

The only drawback is that at $153, the 2.4Ah, 53Wh will cost you not much less than some cheaper netbook models. HP doesn’t as yet seem to be offering the 6-cell as an option with new netbooks but that could follow soon.
