Handset giant Nokia could be the next company to arrive in the netbook world, with the company’s chief executive Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo revealing some a potential huge bit of news on Finnish national broadcast YLE.
Kallasvuo said that Nokia is “looking very actively” at the possibility of entering the notebook scene with it’s own offerings and given recent rumors of a Nokia netbook, two plus two could equal a Nokia netbook.
Kallasvuo believes that within half a decade what we know as a PC and what we know as a cell phone could converge into one item, with the lines already little by little being blurred by such devices as the iPhone.
Nothing is for sure yet but the chances of Nokia offering a range of laptops and even a netbook or two seems pretty high as of now.
