Remember the mystery slim netbook by Acer that we talked about a fair bit last month?
The FCC has now posted a report of the model (hat tip: Netbook 3G) with more information and a set of photographs.
Both the Acer Aspire One AO530 and Acer Aspire One ZG8 are used as names in the report so either Acer hasn’t decided on a name yet or is keeping us guessing. Although key specs are not known as yet, the “AO530″ title hints that the netbook could favor Intel’s 1.6GHz Atom Z530 chip instead of the N2*0 series we are more used to.
The design indicates that it could support either or both a hard drive and SSD and also that the touchpad could support multitouch features.
