Well if this isn’t a good sign for the ASUS Eee PC 1000HE, I don’t know what is. The 1000HE — having just recently started to ship at Amazon.com — is already top of the Most Wished For list at Amazon. This is the black design and right next to it in popularity is the blue design.

The 1000HE launched with 6% off its RRP and while that deal has now dropped to 3%, pricing it at $389, it is still very much sought after it seems.

The Eee PC 1000HE is powered by 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 processor that makes boot times and software launches quicker with extra power. It also sports a 10-inch LED display, 160GB hard drive, 10GB of file-encrypted Eee Online Storage, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0, and a webcam.
