Well, it looks like they made a mistake, as it was in fact the Mini 9 they were selling, but had made a mistake in misprinting it.

The previous product page is now gone, and this was most likely an honest mistake by their product team.

And so the wait continues for a price tag on the Mini 10…

Dell recently announced the Mini 10 netbook at CES 2009 and since then many have been wondering what it will cost. That information may have been revealed by an unlikely source — a supermarket here in the UK.

Tesco has uploaded a product page for the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 and prices it at £349 (US$480). Whether it will price the same in the United States remains a mystery but at least we have some insight now into the sort of figure attached to this highly anticipated netbook.

The Mini 10 slots between Dell’s Mini 9 and Mini 12 models but stands alone impressively with some cool features. The most notable one is the 10-inch screen and its “edge to edge” 720p (1280×720) resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio for HD content. It also comes with a built-in TV tuner, integrated 3G WWAN/GPS, and multitouch support, in addition to the more common specs (1.6GHz Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard disk, etc.).

Dell is busy at CES this year, with its new luxury notebook, the Adamo, turning heads earlier today. But also announced today was the company’s third netbook, the 10-inch Dell Mini 10 that slots in perfectly between the 8.9-inch Dell Mini 9 and the 12.1-inch Dell Mini 12.

The Mini 10 is just one of many 10-inch netbooks to join the fray lately, but has some impressive features that are make it stand out. The 10-inch screen produces an impressive “edge to edge” 720p (1280×720) resolution (with 16:9 aspect ratio for HD content!), putting it almost in league with fully sized notebooks.

A built-in TV tuner is another cool addition, while integrated 3G WWAN/GPS and multitouch support are also included. To match the screen, the keyboard will also be “edge to edge”, fully utilizing the space.

The only other thing we know so far is that it will use an 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, but how much RAM and hard disk space it will offer remains a mystery, as does pricing and availability. Photos are slowly starting to appear, and Pocket-lint.co.uk has a small gallery worth checking out.
